For a while now, we are unable to find games to play, so we decided to create our own for other people to enjoy.

Challenge: Designing a thinking/puzzle game for adults requires creating a balance between complexity and accessibility. Adults may expect challenging puzzles but can become frustrated if the game is too difficult or not engaging enough. Ensuring the design caters to different skill levels while maintaining the game’s intellectual appeal is a key challenge.
For the war game, the challenge lies in designing for a large, diverse target audience with varying expectations. The design needs to balance intense action, strategy elements, and visual appeal while ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices and demographics.
Solution: In the puzzle game, I provided solutions by creating intuitive UI/UX designs that gradually increase difficulty, ensuring the game remains challenging but not overwhelming. I incorporated calming and engaging visual elements to sustain player interest, and employed user-centered design principles to cater to various cognitive styles.
For the war game, I ensured the design incorporated dynamic, visually captivating graphics, with an interface that supports both fast-paced action and strategic decision-making. I optimized the user experience by creating smooth, responsive interactions and utilized gamification elements like rewards and achievements to maintain user engagement across different user demographics.
